Confluence Configuration

This guide demonstrates how to successfully integrate the Confluence application to the Binadox SaaS and IaaS spend management and optimization platform.

1. Create New Binadox Connection

1. Sign in to your Binadox account.

2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Integrations > SaaS.

3. Click on the Confluence icon. To quickly locate the Confluence software in the list of supported applications, type in its name in the search bar or use an alphabetical filter by clicking on the first letter of an application name, i.e. C.

4. Indicate a memorable instance connection name for further differentiation. Click Continue.

5. To finish integration, get an API key and billing information from your Atlassian account.


2. Locate an API Key and Confluence URL Within Your Atlassian Account

1. Log into the Atlassian account as an administrator.

2. From the start page, click on the account settings icon at the bottom left corner. Select Manage your account.

3. In the navigation pane on the left, click Security. In the API token section, click Create and manage API tokens.

4. In the API tokens view, click the Create API token button.

5. Type in a new label name of your API token (e.g. Binadox). Click the Create button.

6. Copy a new API token to the clipboard. Click Close.

7. To locate your Confluence URL, in the navigation pane of the account settings, click Products > Confluence settings.

3. Finish Configuration with an API Key and Billing Information

1. To finish integration, go back to your Binadox account and fill in connection properties and billing information.

• Enter your Confluence URL in the Atlassian site field.
• Type in a user email in the User email field.
• Paste a Confluence API token in the API Key field.
• Indicate the first bill date by clicking on the calendar icon.
• Select a payment plan and a billing period in the corresponding drop-down lists. Click Connect.

2. Confluence is connected.
